The main road connections with the Val di Fassa
The Val di Fassa is located in the north-eastern Trentino and borders with Alto Adige towards the west and with the Veneto towards the east. The valley can be reached by car from several points, passing the steps that surround it.
The most important and smooth access road is the SS48. After leaving the Autostrada del Brennero (A22) at the Egna - Ora toll booth, you will soon get onto the SS48. Continue through the Val di Fiemme until you reach the first village of Val di Fassa, or Moena. (Ora-Moena: km 45).
An alternative route is the one that starts from Bolzano (Exit Autostrada del Brennero toll booth Bolzano nord) along the Val d'Ega through the Costalunga pass (also called Carezza pass) to reach Vigo di Fassa. This last route is shorter than the previous one, if we consider the distance that separates the motorway exit from the first town of the Val di Fassa, but, especially in winter, it is more challenging. (Bolzano-Vigo: km 37).
Those coming from the Veneto region have the right to drive along the Serenissima motorway until reaching the A22 at Verona, and then continue along the routes described above. Alternatively, the traveler can try to overcome one of the passes that surround the Val di Fassa. After crossing Ponte nelle Alpi - Belluno it is possible to reach the valley through the San Pellegrino Pass, the Rolle Pass and the Fedaia Pass, Passo Pordoi depending on where you are.
Val di Fassa is served by a liaison service that allows the connection with the railway stations of Trento and Bolzano.
In the summer months, gran turismo lines reach our valley directly from cities like Milan, Venice, Padua, Genoa, Bologna, Florence and others.
Our hotel is located in Vigo di Fassa, one of the most popular ski resorts in the Val di Fassa / Dolomiti Superski area. Directly from the town center, a modern cableway reaches the Ciampedie plateau in just a few minutes, a panoramic point over the entire Val di Fassa, the peaks of the Catinaccio, the Torri del Vajolet and the other peaks of the Dolomites. The village, with its numerous hotels, is also an important starting point for summer excursions in the Catinaccio massif
